Miss Bobbi 04/19/04. Like many of the cats from up the hill, Miss Bobbi has a half tail. Posted by Picasa

Miss Bobbi 02/28/04. She is pregnant in this photo (Spare is the father of her kittens). She adopted us and turned out to be my sweet baby girl. She was almost feral, living in the woods and stealing the food we left for Spare and Mr. Kitty. She learned to trust us and after she had her kittens we bonded very strongly. We had her spayed and consider her "ours". She lives outside and mostly stays in the woods except when it's cold.  Posted by Picasa

Mr. Kitty 10/19/03. (Originally named Miss Kitty) was the brother of Miss Bobbi. Both came from up the hill He was a gorgeous cat and it took a long time for him to trust me. He stayed for awhile and then started disappearing and only coming around once a week or so. Then once Miss Bobbi had her kittens in March of 2004, we saw him one time and that was the last time we ever saw him. I think Miss Bobbi ran him off. He was a beautiful and sweet cat, and I hope he found a good home. Posted by Picasa

Spare 08/07/04 Posted by Picasa

One spring Spare removed all of his hair by peeling it off. It grew back very soft and lovely. He hasn't done it since, though. Posted by Picasa

This is one of the first pictures of Spare, in February 2003. He started coming down to the house and sleeping in the box we had out for the black stray. His real name is George and he belongs to the people up the hill, but he prefers to stay with us. We call him George. He is the father of our three kittens, Stubby, Junior and Rascal. Posted by Picasa

This black cat showed up in the fall of 2002. He or she turned out to be declawed, so s/he must have been dumped in the neighborhood. Luckily, our next door neighbor's mother adopted her/him. Posted by Picasa
