This is one of the first pictures of Spare, in February 2003. He started coming down to the house and sleeping in the box we had out for the black stray. His real name is George and he belongs to the people up the hill, but he prefers to stay with us. We call him George. He is the father of our three kittens, Stubby, Junior and Rascal.
